With Southwest Airlines we flew via Albuquerque back to Phoenix. At the airport in Albuquerque we saw a poster about the upcoming tricentennial of the city. The city was founded in 1706 (http://www.albuquerque300.org).

Midway Airport, Chicago, March 27, 2005 Near Gate 7 and Gate 8 is the "Let Them Eat Cake" Bar Bakery Cafe. There we had a double espresso and it was perfect, it tastes even better than the Starbucks coffee. It was served in paper cups with a handle.  Posted by Hello

Chicago, March 27, 2005 Amy taught us how to make a banana split. We had already tasted our first banana split at the Ice Cream Parlor on Yesterday Chicago Street at the Museum of Science and History. We spent a few hours there on March 20 with Amy. We cut a banana into two halves and put three different scopes of ice cream - strawberry, chocolate and mint. Next we put caramel topping, whipped cream and cherries. Finally, we sprinkled it with chopped nuts.  Posted by Hello

This is brocolli casserole and rolls that Amy made for 10 minutes. They were delicious. We talked a lot about our family roots, studying foreign languages and even sang songs together. Boyan played the piano. Posted by Hello

Chicago, March 27, 2005 Amy cooked lunch for her family, cousins from Germany and friends. She taught me how to prepare a brocolli casserole. First, I crushed crackers with a porcelain cup. We steamed brocolli and added to it Cheddar cheese, butter and crackers. Next we baked it for about 15 minutes. Posted by Hello
